Prana Kara Jean- $75

The Good- They feel great, look great, and come from a great company.

The Bad- The price is high but it reflects the quality of the product.

The Awesome: By far, the best pair of jeans I have ever worn. I may or may not sleep in them sometimes.

Prana’s Kara Jeans are designed with adventure in mind, designed for the rigors of the trail but comfortable enough for fireside fun. The stretchable fabric is reinforced with rivets on the wear points, and the low rise fit is cute enough to sport just about anywhere.

These fit like a dream. I usually wear between a 4 and 6 depending on the brand and what mood my body decides to be in for the week. These are a 4 with ample stretch to them so they fit snug but not so tight that they look painted on. I could easily wear them doing yoga or while stretching because any movement is unrestricted in these jeans. The material is made with soft stretch denim, it’s a blend of cotton, polyester, and spandex. I wish I could wear them everyday….but I suppose that would get weird; also, summers in California are not jean friendly no matter how breathable they are.IMG_8342

Being part of hipster nation here in Redding (I know right? Not a place you’d expect to be hipster) I can fit right in with these jeans. Since they’re both fitted and skinny, I can pair them with just about any style outfit and shoes. Casual or dressed up, heels, sandals, Toms…barefoot, your choice my friends. If you don’t enjoy fitting in and are more the stand out type, Prana is currently making these in ‘Spice’ (it’s like a bright red/coral), bright blue, and white. You can also know that these jeans came from a super ethical company that has high social and environmental standards and that is constantly giving back to their community. Spread that news to your hipster pals.

So if you want a comfortable set of pants that will look as good on the trail as they do in the cafe’, these jeans really fit.
